This Is Love Work is an organization that supports, strengthens, and inspires community around mothers, doulas, and families.

Fostering a supportive and empowering community where women can connect with one another to navigate their birth and postpartum journeys with confidence, compassion, and camaraderie is our priority. We believe in the transformative power of building connections, and we strive to inspire and uplift future mothers and doulas through personal accounts of triumph, joy, frustration, and love.

Our goal is to provide a platform for sharing authentic stories from mothers, doulas, and families, offering insights into the diverse experiences of childbirth and the invaluable support that doulas provide.

Through these stories, we aim to:

• Inspire doulas and others considering birthwork to cultivate their own support networks, fostering spaces where they can share experiences, seek guidance, and collaborate with fellow birthworkers to provide the best possible care

• Inspire mothers to envision what their birth can look like, to understand the benefits of doula support, and to feel empowered in their choices. In addition to inspiring mothers, we are dedicated to encouraging those interested in birthwork to pursue their passion by becoming doulas.

We believe that every person deserves access to doula support, which is why we are committed to partially funding doula scholarships, making this transformative care accessible to all.

Central to our mission is the creation of events that serve as spaces for education, transparency, and meaningful conversation. These events provide a safe and serene environment for discussing challenging issues, sharing knowledge, and building connections within our community.
